Free SEO audit: I pick one site a month and review it by hand
Leave your website in the form above. One site each month, chosen by me. I audit it by hand and publish it as a note, with your permission. Free, done by a person, open to any website.
No automatic tool involved. No score out of 100. No PDF full of generic advice either. I open your site, crawl it, read it. Then I write down what is broken, what is missing and what I would fix first. If your site gets picked, I write to you.
What a free SEO audit is and what I do exactly
A free SEO audit means reviewing your website to find what holds it back in Google. Not a quick scan. A proper look at how search engines see your site and what you can do about it.
What I do exactly:
- I crawl your site the way Google does
- Indexing, structure, content, speed and links: I check all of it
- I compare your pages with the keywords you want to rank for
- I write a note with what I found and what I would fix first
- I publish that note on my site, with your permission
The goal is simple. You leave with a clear list of what to fix and in what order. Not a generic report. Your site, your problems, your priorities.
How to request it
- 1Leave your website and your email in the form above
- 2I pick one site a month and let you know if it is yours
- 3The audit gets published as a note with your permission
No calls, no sales pitch, no obligation. Want to know more about how I work? Read about my SEO consultant services.
What I check
Every audit covers the same areas. These matter most:
- Crawl and indexing. Can Google find and read all your pages?
- Structure and internal links. Is your site organised so search engines understand it?
- Content and intent. Do your pages answer what people are searching for?
- Titles and metas. Are your titles and descriptions clear and unique?
- Speed and Core Web Vitals. Is your site fast enough on mobile?
- Structured data. Do you use schema to help Google understand your content?
- Links. What sites link to you, and are they quality?
- Measurement. Do you have GA4 and Search Console set up correctly?
After the review, I give you a priority list. Not everything at once. What to fix first, second and third, based on what will move the needle fastest.
What you get
A published note on my site. Your audit, written by me, with the issues I found and the order I would fix them in. It is public because I have nothing to hide and it shows how I work.
You also get a clear diagnosis of your site, a prioritised list of fixes and context on why each issue matters. What you do not get: implementation, monthly follow-up or a full consulting engagement. A free website audit, not a paid service. If you want me to help with the fixes afterwards, that is a different conversation.
Automatic tool vs audit done by a person
| Automatic tool | Audit done by a person | What you learn |
|---|---|---|
| Scores your site out of 100 | Reads your site and explains what is wrong | What is actually broken |
| Gives you a generic PDF | Writes a note with your specific issues | What to fix for your site |
| Flags technical errors | Tells you which errors matter and why | What to prioritise |
| No context on your business | Understands your goals and your market | What moves the needle for you |
| Same report for every site | Different priorities for every site | A plan that fits your situation |
| Free or cheap | Free, one site a month | A real review, no sales pitch |
Tools are fine for a quick scan. But they cannot tell you what to fix first for your specific site, your specific market and your specific goals. That is what a person does.
Free tools to audit your own site's SEO
If you want a first look before asking for my audit, these tools are free and reliable:
- Google Search Console: indexing, crawl errors, search performance and links for your site.
- PageSpeed Insights: speed and Core Web Vitals for a URL.
- Bing Webmaster Tools: another view of crawling and indexing, also free.
- Ahrefs Webmaster Tools: error and link reports for verified sites you own.
- Screaming Frog SEO Spider: a desktop crawler with a limited free version.
They give you data, but they do not tell you what to fix first or why. That part is what I do by hand in the audit.
When it makes sense to request one
When should you request a free SEO audit? If your traffic has dropped and you do not know why. If you launched a new site and it is not ranking. If you have been doing SEO for a while but nothing moves. If you want a second opinion before hiring someone. If you are not sure your site is technically sound.
It also helps if you are thinking about SEO for AI and want to know whether your site is ready for how search is changing.

What the free audit does not include
Honesty matters. What is this not? Not a full consulting engagement. No action plan with implementation. No monthly follow-up. No guarantee of results. And not open to everyone, only one site a month.
Need ongoing help? That is a different service. I do not give prices here because every project is different. Curious what a paid SEO audit costs in the market? Depends on the scope, the size of the site and the consultant.
Frequently asked questions
How much does an SEO audit cost?
This one is free. One site a month, no cost and no commitment. A paid SEO audit in the market depends on the scope, the size of the site and the consultant. This is not that. This is me, one site, free.
How long does it take?
I agree on the timing when I pick your site. Depends on the size of the site and how deep I need to go. I will tell you before I start.
What is included?
A diagnosis of your site, a prioritised list of fixes and a published note with my findings. No implementation, no follow-up, no extra calls.
Is it done by a tool or by a person?
By me. Tools help me crawl and analyse, but the analysis, the priorities and the note are mine. No automatic report.
What is the difference between this and a paid audit?
A paid audit usually includes implementation, follow-up and a detailed action plan. This is a free review with a priority list. If you want me to help with the fixes afterwards, that is a different service.
What if my site is not picked?
I tell you and you go on the list for next month. No hard feelings.
